Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral is a free-standing Cathedral arranged in a cruciform layout. The main axis of the building is placed in an east/west orientation, with the entrance to the west. Cathedral electrical is a 277/480 volt 3 phase, 4 wire system with extensive lighting control and low voltage systems.

The structural construction was steel. The exterior is wood-mold brick and precast concrete. All lighting fixtures for the interior and exterior are LED and color-matched.
